If you’re a fan of football management games you’ll undoubtedly have come across the fantastic Top Eleven app, which has the enigmatic Jose Mourinho as its hero. The team behind the app – Nordeus – approached us looking for an interesting way to promote their 2015 version of the game, and in particular wanted an animation or motion graphic. After some concept development, our research and copywriting teams came up with concept of comparing football (the real one) and American football (the game you play with your hands). Whilst we may have had a slight bias towards which we felt was the better sport, we came up with a range of fair comparisons and tried to use the data to decide which sport was which.
